SeaWorld closing Clyde and Seamore Take Pirate Island Show
After a 15 year run, SeaWorld’s current Sea Lion & Otter show (Clyde & Seamore Take Pirate Island) will close for good in 2014. SeaWorld often replaces old shows with new ones. Over the last several years, One Ocean has replaced Believe, and Shamu Celebration: Light up the Night has replaced Shamu Rocks. Next to be retired to make room for a brand new show will be Clyde & Seamore Take Pirate Island. After a record setting 15 year run, the show will close for good on August 10th as the longest running show in SeaWorld Orlando’s history.
Sources tell us that the show venue will be closed for at least a month for renovations and to install a new show. If the rumors are true, the new show may be named “Clyde & Seamore: Back To School”.
We leave you with a video skit from Clyde and Seamore’s current pirate show.
