Six Flags Over Texas Announces New Roller Coaster For 2017
This morning, Six Flags Over Texas announced they will open a new roller coaster in 2017! The Joker 4-D free fly coaster will flip thrill seeking guests head over heels SIX TIMES!
Guests will experience exhilarating leaps and dives along with unexpected drops as they tumble from one level to the next!
Park president Steve Martindale stated:
“The unpredictability and gravity-defying somersaults on this award-winning, spinning vertical coaster is the perfect addition to our already impressive coaster line-up”.
Quick Stats:
- 120 foot elevator lift hill
- Two beyond 90 degree drops
- Six inversions head over heels
- Trains where riders face each other as they flip head over heels
- One minute ride time
This will be the second 4-D free fly coaster in Texas (the first one being at sister park Fiesta Texas), and one of three 4-D coasters announced for the Six Flags chain for next year. It will also be the park’s first coaster since 2011.
