Our annual Haunted House poll is back! We might be a theme park website, but we have a thorough background in haunted attractions too! Every Halloween season we hear about the BEST or SCARIEST haunted houses. Haunted attractions today are comparable to Hollywood movie productions, becoming more elaborate and more immersive than ever before! According to the Haunted Attraction Association, the haunt industry is a $7 billion dollar industry with more than 2,500 haunted attractions spread across the United States. A recent poll shows that over 25% of Americans will visit a haunted house this season. Now that we are nearing the end of October, we want to know what attractions the fans truly liked as their top selection! That’s why we’re giving YOU, the FANS yes, YOU, the chance to select Coaster Nation’s 2017 Top Haunt Award!
Weather you’re favorite haunted attractions offer attention to detail, high energy startle scares, a good theater production, or simply a good time on a hayride, you have the final say!
The poll is filled with Haunted Attractions around the world that do not take place in a Theme Park or Amusement Park. So, why are so many haunts included? Unlike other sites, you do not buy your way onto this poll. In order to qualify, the haunt has to be a professional haunted attraction open for the entire 2017 Halloween season. If we missed a pro attraction, simply email us at info@coasternation.com to be added. We’ll acknowledge the top 31! The winner will be mailed a physical award! Good Luck!
