TransWorld Reveals Location For 2017 Legendary Haunt Tour
Once the Halloween season is over, haunted attraction owners and operators from around the world gather to tour some of the industries favorite attractions. Each year, TransWorld exhibits selects a different city with haunts and attractions to play host to what’s known as TransWorld’s Legendary Haunt Tour. Over time, the tour has evolved into a destination social event for haunters all over the world, providing a unique vacation and networking opportunity just after Halloween season wraps up.
The 2016 Legendary Haunt Tour took us to Pennsylvania to tour some of Pittsburgh’s scariest haunted houses. The haunts, tours, after parties, and socials, all made for a fantastic time in the city of the dead! Pittsburgh also had a lot to offer outside of the haunted houses with some great food stops, unique bridges, and lots of iconic film locations to explore!
For 2017, Legendary is going BACK TO PENNSYLVANIA, but this time to the EAST side of the state! The featured attractions will be Field of Screams and Bates Motel & Haunted Hayride. Although announced as LHT Philadelphia, the attractions are actually about an hour West of Philly. These two massive multi-attraction events are both unique, both offer highly details shows, and both offer some of the top hayrides in the haunt industry! We Promise, YOU WILL NOT WANT TO MISS THIS TOUR!
We can only speculate, but hopefully the TransWorld producers will include some of the other surrounding haunts for Thursday or Sunday night events in the 2017 LHT itinerary. There’s a lot notable nearby haunts worth checking out such as Pennhurst Asylum, Shocktoberfest, Terror Behind the Walls, Jason’s Woods, and plenty more! Some of the local Escape Games such as Escape Room Lititz or Escape Games Live would be great stops as well, or even a visit to go behind-the-scenes at Hershey Park’s Halloween event, Hershey Park After Dark. It’s all just speculation on the extra stops, but Field of Screams along with Bates Motel & Haunted Hayride are the only places confirmed so far.
