VIP Tour Packages Now Available At Cedar Point
There’s so much to see and do while visiting Cedar Point — depending on how long you plan on staying, it may be hard to squeeze everything in during your visit. The good news is that there are three different VIP tours you can book during your visit. Whether you’re looking to maximize all the activities you can, or just add a unique experience to your trip, one of these tours could be for you!
There are currently three different options for VIP tours available: the Sunrise Thrills VIP Tour, the Gold VIP Tour and the Silver VIP Tour. To help you compare all three options and see which one best suits what you’re looking for, the chart below details what you get with each tour.
Each tour offers personal attention you just can’t get anywhere else. On the Sunrise Thrills VIP Tour, you’ll get to take the lift elevator up to the top of Valravn and have the chance to take some incredible photos from the top. Afterwards, there are behind-the-scenes tours of some of the park’s biggest coasters like Millennium Force, Maverick, and you guessed it, Steel Vengeance. You’ll also get immediate boarding on both Maverick and Steel Vengeance. The Sunrise Thrills Tour begins before the park opens and will last between 3-4 hours. It’s only available on select days so if you’re looking to do this tour, plan to book sooner rather than later.
The Gold and Silver VIP tours are offered daily between May 5 and September 3 and begin at 11 a.m. Both tours involve a VIP escort around the park that gets you front-of-the-line access to your favorite rides! If you’ve ever been at Cedar Point and seen a staff member escort a group of people up the exit of a ride, chances are they’re on one of these tours.
The Gold Tour is the more expensive of the two tours meaning you get more with it. The main differences between the Gold and Silver Tour is the dining plan, FunPix and Fright Lane (if you’re visiting during Haunt). Guests on the Gold Tour receive an All-day Dining Plan, while guests on the Silver Tour get a Single Meal Deal. Gold Tour guests also receive access to FunPix, which lets you have unlimited digital downloads of all your in-park photos (including on-ride photos!). Guests who schedule the Gold Tour during Haunt season will also be given a Fright Lane pass for access to the park’s haunted mazes.
As of 3/13/18, the pricing for the three tours is as follows:
- Sunrise Thrills – $199/person (admission not included)
- Silver – $350/person
- Gold– $475/person
These tours are great if you have a limited amount of time to spend at the park. You’ll have time to ride your favorite coasters as well as enjoy the other amenities Cedar Point has to offer like shows, dining, Cedar Point Shores and Cedar Point Beach. Excited yet? There’s more…
In 2018, Cedar Point will debut Steel Vengeance, a roller coaster forged so big and so bold, an entirely new category of thrill ride has been branded: the hyper-hybrid – the world’s first steel-on-wood hybrid roller coaster to stand over 200 feet tall.
Steel Vengeance comes action-packed with a height of 205 feet above the prairie, a 90-degree initial drop down to the earth, almost 30 seconds of airtime (the most on any roller coaster on Earth), 4 head-over-boots inversions, ricocheting movements left-to-right, up-to-down and side to side…it’s a roller coaster only Cedar Point could build – and you have the chance to saddle up and take the ride of your life beginning in 2018!

Steel Vengeance isn’t the only thing new at Cedar Point in 2018.
