Polin Waterparks Recieves Awards For Ulet Waterpark in Russia
Iconic waterpark manufacturer Polin Waterpark was honored with numerous awards at the International Golden Pony Award Ceremony held during the Russian Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions exhibition in Moscow on March 1st.
Polin, known for their work with Six Flags, Cowabunga Bay, Carnival, and Royal Caribbean, received an award recognizing their contribution to the development of social and cultural life in Ulyanovsk through Polin’s Ulet Waterpark project.
Ulet Waterpark is one of the largest waterparks in the Volga Region of Russian. Since it’s opening in 2015, the park has amazed many with the highly themed 135000 square foot park featuring 7 Polin water slides (one of them being the fastest in the region), and 3 pools. Some are filled with warm, whirpool jets, while another produces ocean-like waves. The indoor/outdoor pool allows guests to relax in warm water even while it snows.
The Ulet Waterpark is the first fully-themed waterpark in Russia and also offers saunas and a spacious jacuzzi, as well as a large café. There is plenty to keep little ones amused in the pirate-themed area.
The annual ceremony takes place during the Russian Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (RAAPA) international trade show. Polin also received the show’s Best Exhibit Award for the fifth consecutive year.
